Before attending law school, Brandi Murrell earned her Master’s Degree in Higher Education with a focus on Student Affairs. She worked at Texas Tech University as a Student Organization and Greek Life advisor, and then as a Hearing Officer for the Office of Student Conduct. She then built and ran a Student Conduct Office at Tyler Junior College.

Attorney Murrell then attended the University of Tennessee College of Law, and her clerkship with the District Attorney’s Office ignited her passion for the practice of criminal law. After graduating from law school, she worked at the law firm of Banks & Jones in the area of criminal defense for almost 4 years. She now practices criminal defense and utilizes her training and experience to advocate for those charged with crimes or violations, helping them achieve the best possible resolution to one of the most difficult issues they will face.
